Aleksandra Ratnikava (5'7 G/Minsk, Belarus/Northeastern JC) has signed a national letter of intent with Division 2 power Florida Southern.

Ratnikava spent two years at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado playing for head coach Dave Huss. This past season, Ratnikava led the Plainswomen in scoring averaging 18 ppg. She had a career high of 41 pts vs. Trinidad State. During the 2018-2019 season, Aleksandra averaged 12 ppg and led the team in assists and steals.

Aleksandra can play both point guard and shooting guard. She is a strong guard who can really shoot it and also score at the rim. Her versatility will be a key addition to the Florida Southern program.

Florida Southern College is located in Lakeland, Florida and plays in the Sunshine State Conference. FSC has been a dominant program appearing in 14 NCAA Division 2 tournaments with 2 appearances in the Elite Eight.

We wish Aleksandra the best as she begins her journey at Florida Southern.
